The shooting at the ball field was by a disgruntled Bernie supporter that was a member of several anti GOP and Trump groups on social media. He was very vocal about his dislike of Trump and republicans and targeted them specifically to shoot.

It's just more of that liberal "love trumps hate" hypocrisy.

Let's see ... the Left dehumanizes it's opponents - hysterically levels a daily salvo of wild unsubstantiated claims, shuts down discourse via name-calling and vilification, shouts down any speaker they disagree with, drums up riots at universities, publishes a steady stream of lies, all in the vain hope of impeaching or undermining a duly elected president.

After fomented so much hatred and severed heads and mock murders for political benefit, one hate-filled unhinged Lefty whose vicious blog looks like a typical Trump-bashing MSNBC or CNN 'news' report, decides to murder as many Republicans as he can (with legally purchased firearms), acting right in step with the Left's drum beat, by no doubt seeing himself as a 'hero' in the 'cause' of destroying the Republicans and the presidency.

But never to let a tragedy go to waste ... the Left is following the playbook, as always, sending out its spokespeople to push for stricter gun control, as if that would prevent this from happening.

Time for the Left to admit that simply because two political parties disagree on political ideas and solutions does not make the other side a "hater", and those ideas don't need to be silenced (via riots, shouting, accusations, or murder). It needs open debate where ideas can be heard and considered so the American people can decide if they want Marxism or Capitalism and a hundred other contentious issues.

The Left has to come out of its "safe spaces" and put the therapy puppy down and the crayons away for a moment and be willing to debate the issues calmly and sanely. If you're old enough, you might recall that the Left used to debate. But that was many decades ago when they had some moderates still in the party. Now debate is a thing of the past.

We are in the midst of civil war - a cultural / religious civil war (if you understand that the 'religion' of the Left is Liberalism and atheism).

Johnny you are spot on.

We are indeed going to face a constitutional crisis.
This what we see has a lot to do with seeing the wealth being had by a smaller and smaller group.
The state to watch is guess, California.
Look at how this country sets itself up politically.
West coast east cost.
A sea of red in the middle.
Too much of a concentration of the left geographically.
Trump is going to have to make a high stakes decision.
Let's just hope he makes the right one.
I truly feel Ryan and MCConnel are just trying to play it safe.
They are not gamblers by no means politically.
By listening to the press and all of the goings on in our government.
You never would think for one minute all branches of our government are controlled by one party.
And just maybe they aren't, and this is the problem.
Trump I still feel is an independent policy wise when you look across the board.

Neither party likes him period.
But the republicans can't abandoned Trump, they know if they do, the left wins big time.
But if they stay, their winning not a certainty either.

You watch, a whole new party is fixing to emerge.
Psychologically this may have a temporary affect and quell what we see for now, but this will only be temporary I am afraid.

The mid terms will tell us a lot.
And I feel will be the catalyst for this new party.
Trump will NOT run for a second term period.
He is smart not to do.
But he will I think still have a huge affect on the next presidential election.
And this will satisfy Trump big time.

Trump btw is not at fault here, rather both the democrats and republicans.
This has been in the making.
Look back at our history.
We have recently had 2 elections were the winner lost popular vote.
How many more presidential elections can we stomach where this happens?
Polls I think are to blame here too.
They give folks an expected outcome, and when this differs fro reality it adds fuel to the fire.

As far as these travel bans.
Consider the following.
Remember I am not a believer of the judicial branch interfering with actions of another branch as far national security issues.
Let's assume this latest decisions held by the 4 and 9th circuit courts are indeed the right decisions.

So let's go back to 2002/2003.
Where were these same liberals judges, why didn't they issue rulings blocking voth the legislative and executive branches for invading Iraq?
I mean reading the rulings as of late, there was a hint the executive hadn't proved where these supposed people of these countries would hurt us.

Remember GW Bush watch, before the invasion, we had inspectors in the country, they didn't find anything, and even before their inspection was done completely they were kicked out, and we engaged Iraq militarily.
Actually in this case here, I feel the judicial branch should have intervened due to course of events with their corresponding findings.
Big difference in troubling folks with travel bans, vs folks of a foreign country facing bombing, etc.
Just some thing for folks to think about here.

Had the judicial branch have done this back in 2002/2003 I feel we would be in a better position now as far as these rulings with these travel bans.
Americans are by way of our governments not being consistent is confusing them with each passing day.
And yes the Hillary investigation with the results that followed, this too confuses folks.
When a government confuses folks, it makes the government not worth a hill of beans.

I keep hearing this on my local Talk Radio, you know, the folks who's business is to spread fake news and normalize hatred. Johnny, who are you going to attack? Fellas like me who drive new BMWs? Asians? College kids? Muslims? Apparently the Left has fired the first shot of your civil war and now you have the justification for escalation.

There are good people on both sides trying to decry those who preach hate. Tim Scott, (R) S.C., gave a great speech yesterday that was mocked by the Right.

That's too bad.

I'm not going to debate Leftists, where emotional energy decides and facts are meaningless. But I think some folks might want to understand what motivates the Left to impugn the intentions of their political opponents so universally. In their world, the Right is stupid, evil, and morally bankrupt, not just simply wrong on policy or misinformed. There are parallels to how the Democratic party oppressed minorities, especially Blacks, for more than a century. Here they used intimidation, murder, voting law restrictions, laws to limit Blacks from integrating or starting a business, etc. Why? Because the Left viewed minorities throughout that period in an identical fashion to the way they view the Right today: stupid, evil, and morally bankrupt. Here's why:

Those who have studied Leftist moral rules have found four moral truths that define what a Left-leaning person believes (I'll paraphrase here).

1. For the Left, it is an absolute unassailable moral imperative to never discriminate - so, thinking must always be indiscriminate, meaning done without rendering judgment. The idea stems from the belief that all opinions are based on inner personal prejudices. This is the core of their error, but accept that they believe it to be absolute truth. Under this rubric, everything you believe is 'infected' by your inability to understand without introducing errors produced by your own privileged worldview. Your thoughts and opinions are rooted in your physical, economic, and societal position, and lead inevitably to erroneous judgment. The only means to avoid being a bigot under this scheme is to ... never think at all. Thus, the solid Leftist debate tactic is always to declare to their opponent, "you're a racist", "you're a xenophobe", you're a hater", and in this manner avoid the self-incriminating charge of bigotry. In fact, remaining neutral is an absolute must (i.e., to avoid being discriminatory due to built-in prejudices). To be non-judgmental means there can be no assessing of good or bad.

1a. Since good and bad don't exist (to avoid the sin of prejudice) it is logical there can be no meaningful differences between religions, cultures, people-groups, behaviors, or government systems. They are all equal. All people, all governments, all cultures are equal. No one is better than another.

2. Thus, we have multiculturalism - a belief that no behavior, religion, or government can be judged as better or worse than another. When the Left see evidence that various religions, governments, peoples, and behaviors clearly lead to negative outcomes, they are not permitted to critically adjudge those differences. It is clear there are winners and losers, but what explains these differences? How did one religion (Christianity) or governmental system (Capitalism) become more successful than others? The answer: it gained preference through injustice. It cheated! The Leftist moral rule teaches that reflective thought is prejudiced and bigoted, so there can be no judging. So, if the rule is not in error (it cannot be) - it must be that a crime has been committed, upsetting the equality of all things. The less fortunate, less successful, have been taken advantage of, a cheater has corrupted the equality that would otherwise exist.

2a. If you are following the logic so-far, then here's the conclusion of this thinking. Success is inherently unjust. Successful people are invariably victimizers. And the obverse: disadvantaged or unsuccessful cultures, people, religions, or failed governmental systems are inherently victims.

3. Thus, the Left always picks the underdog, the ugly, the bad. For example, for the poor (we must equalize the playing field by redistributing wealth), criminals (victims of society whose cause must be championed), women (victims of pay inequality and sexism), illegal immigrants (America is a success, so it must have cheated and victimized all the other countries, we owe these people), radical Islam (their crimes are understandable and excusable - they are victimized by Israel and America), sexual promiscuity (imposing morality is nothing more than oppression and similar to slavery), minority crime (the criminal is a victim of racism and wealth stolen by the very rich - we need to understand and forgive lawless people), and racial profiling (clear case of judging - must be opposed, yes it works and catches criminals before they commit a crime, but it is a crime in-and-of-itself), make America Great (you mean commit more imperialist war atrocities on weaker nations and steal their oil - no thanks), capitalism and market economies (why do you want to punish the unlucky in life? It isn't fair for some to do better than others), socialism and Marxism (finally justice and equality for all - no winner, no loses), and abortion (why do you want to punish girls with a baby for the crimes of society?).

Then there's the Constitution (a document written by white racist slave-holders to create inequality so that whites can keep minorities and women down and get rich off the backs of others), and the Bill of Rights (a partial list of rights but does not afford full equality: like the Right to free Healthcare, the Right to a Job, the Right to a free Cellphone, the Right to Free Education, the Right to be Rich, the Right to Unlimited Free Stuff, the Right to not Work Hard - or at all, the Right to unbridled Sin, and the Right to Anything you Desire. These few things are missing from that ancient document that enslaves the downtrodden. These rights are conferred upon the loyal and true believer by the benevolent Central Government, run by caring non-judging Leftists ruling-elite, who distribute life, happiness, and all good things to the faithful, equally. Any similarity to God's role is unintentional as God is excommunicated - no room for a discriminating bully in the new world order. We in the Left have something much better than the idea of God - we have Ourselves).

4. Continuing on then, when the Left rules, without judging right or wrong, they implicitly must pick the worst behavior: abortion, promiscuity, crime, out-of-wedlock births, divorce, drugs, school failure, venereal diseases, gang violence, economic crisis, no education, unemployment, terrorist acts, miserable and angry people, you name it ... they are defended and glossed. As the alternative is by definition something obviously morally superior: monogamy, marriage, a good job, education, law-abiding, happy children, and having money. But the rule holds: it's superiority can only be the result of injustice. These people are guilty of victimizing the disadvantaged, they cheated (perhaps by their use of white privilege).

Therefore, the crux of the matter for the Left is that Republicans, Conservatives, Christians, and the the Rich (i.e., White men), are all guilty of high crimes. There is no need to debate - the people in these categories are evil, exploitative, dangerous, and destroying America. Everything they stand for is tainted by their crime of hating the downtrodden masses, stealing their wealth, and laughing and mocking the poor from which they have elevated themselves. They must be opposed. They need to be shouted down. They need to be driven from political office. They need to be impeached before they can be inaugurated. They don't deserve respect. Maybe they need their heads chopped off ... or worse.

If you've been paying attention, you've noticed that the public discourse for the last three decades has bent further into this mindset especially as the Radical Left took over the Democratic Party and all discourse came to a halt. You should now understand that it is the moral imperative of the Left to side with evil over good, wrong over right, ugly over beauty, lies over truth, and so on. While the Right can understand and critically attain the motivation of the Left, the Left cannot fathom the motivation of the Right. The Right is a mystery. The only explanation for what the believe is that the Right must be crazy, evil, inherently racist, homphobes, xenophobes, sexists, and mental defectives. This has driven them to love Wall Street and the rich, to give tax cuts to their friends and big corporations run by white millionaires, while always hating the minorities, middle-class, and the poor.

So, the next time (it won't be long, trust me) that you hear someone vilifying the Right, telling you how stupid and utterly morally evil these craven Republicans are, and how they must be stopped at any cost ... at least you'll understand the reason. It's logical, though built on a false supposition: 1) Critical thinking is a crime 2) We are all equal 3) Inequality is due to injustice 4) The good or better is the result of crimes against humanity and must be opposed 5) the Left thus sides with the wrong and the evil over-against truth and the good.

That's a pretty long post there. Very long and very wrong. Most people identify themselves with values from both sides of the political isle. I call myself a Liberal, but I do have some conservative beliefs. In fact up to and including George W Bush I voted Republican. But after the Iraq and Afghanistan BS wars and his mismanagement of the economy I had enough.

Now you can type yourself a book and claim to know people, but in the end what you type is nothing more than a stereotype. People that choose to vote do so for many reasons. Some personal. Some for what they feel is good for their fellow man. And some just vote for a change in philosophy. Some voted against Hillary just because they hated her husband, or from Russian hacking information. Did they love Trump? Nope! Just the lesser of two evils in their mind.

I may vote Republican in the future. But it won't be for Donnie. It won't be for for a war hawk like John McCain. Gee all that in about 10 sentences.

Which is worse if true, Russia's hacking that exposed Hillary's corruption, Hillary's corrupt acts or Hillary not being held accountable for her corrupt acts? I think it's the latter because it destroys the faith that the American people have in their government. If true, what Russia did was bad, but what our government did by letting Hillary off the hook is far worse because it threw equal justice under the law out the front door. Sad.

Another good post Johnny.
If all the democrats would read your post and do some thinking, some deep down thinking they could improve as a party.

It was Lincoln who freed the slaves, a republican, not a democrat.

The democratic playbook seems has run out of steam.
Did you notice, how squirmy the democrats got when Trump started down the road of asking the blacks, how have things improved.
Look at the different cities with this long term democratic rule, see a pattern.
This did btw contribute to Trump's victory somewhat.

And wonder why we never saw a previous republican candidate ever point this out.
Trump is certainly good at one thing.
He used the course of time better than any candidate to date for president.
You see the course of time, this is something you can just do a quick paint job on with political rederidk, something the Dems have been doing for a while.
Statistics were not on the lesft's side, were exposed big time.

Hillary I think was even blind sighted here by the actual facts, Why?
She was out of touch, really only associated with well to do folks financially.

Isn't it ironic.
Most folks would have said just a couple years ago when ask.
Would we ever have a billionaire as president?
They would have said no.
Why?
Was it because of purely the wealth?
Or was it because folks feel a billionaire wouldn't be relatable to common folks?
Likely both.
And look what Trump did.
He was able to relate to common folks better than the democrats and even the republicans as a billionaire business man.

We got a preview of Trumpmback in 92 with Perot.
If Internet and social media would have been more prevalent, Perot I think would have got more votes.

Americans don't like folks who "live in caves ".
Remember HW Bush, how many votes did he lose because he hasn't seen one of those grocery store scanners, or didn't know what a gallon of milk cost.
Hillary was guilty here too, she could 't explain why certain cities statics wise " high percentage" of blacks were like they were.
She didn't even try to explain.
And remember we just had 8 years of Obama rule.
Where were the bragging points?

Hillary's entire campaign was a campaign on personal quality destruction of Trump, not policy.
Isn't the American people who judge the qualities personality wise of the candidate, not one of the opposing candidates.
Remember Trump used generic terms when describing his opposition, Hillary tried to dial in moreso.
So Hillary in a sense was insulting the American people's intelligence.
Trump basically use good marketing strategy and marketed Hillary as crooked- it worked.
Pelosi, if she stays around, expect no improvements with the left.
She is I'll just say, out there like Pluto.
Where are all the good ideas spewing from the left?
Where is the condemnation from the left with all these Hollywood fruitcakes with their lame speeches and terms they use?

A party that doesn't seem to take a stand, is viewed as a party that has no leadership, no morals.
The left has moved so far left, the right can now claim more of the middle.
Ever notice the big bus or whatever CNN calls the election express.
What is wrong here with this picture?
Sure they seem to use it out on the trail during election time.
How about fire that thing up, hit trail and go into middle America and see what is on their minds, what concerns them.
Actually Indould say the same thing here about a lot of the press.
To the press here.
Get out of our air conditioned and heated offices and these places where you try your stagecraft, we don't need you the press to just report when some thing goes dreadfully wrong, instead hit the trial, talk to folks, report on the good that is happening in the dountry with folks, find the school teachers, the garbage haulers, the brick layers, the street cleaners, the youth who are excelling, the aged who can share their life experiences, the homeless person, the new mother, just get out personally and continue to take the pulse of America.

This would be the poll, worthy poll too, if you did the above.

We don't need either the press or candidates for president or any positions for that matter who live in caves.

The left does not need to improve. They just need a likable candidate. The political pendulum will swing Liberal again. Until then it is all just a matter of controlling Donnie's damage. The way that is shaping up it looks like an easy accomplishment. Keep us out of war is the big one. Healthcare is a losing proposition no matter what the Republicans do. The wall is a fairytale. And rounding up illegals? Many Liberals have no problem with it at all if they are criminals. Breaking up families? That will cost the conservatives dearly at the polls.

That actually made my morning! I suspect this smile on my face will remain for the rest of the day!

For those who enjoy John's version of "logic"..I highly recommend reading "A Modest Proposal" (it's not very long..Google it!) by Jonathon Swift. If that doesn't put a smile on your face..NOTHING will!

Johnny, your diatribe is a pathetic attempt to deny the root cause of our ills in an attempt to paint a simple solution... vote in more Republicans. You must have tired yourself there building flimsy straw men to tear down.

That's a good idea for you. If you don't bring facts, as is often the case, then you'll lose the debate.

In their world, the Right is stupid, evil, and morally bankrupt, not just simply wrong on policy or misinformed. ... they view the Right today: stupid, evil, and morally bankrupt.

Maybe you're just feeling bad that you can't sell an extreme viewpoint to the general public. That's to be expected. But to obsess about what a fictional Liberal might think, that's just sad. Only the Snowflakes care about what others think of them.

It's obvious that most people understand that it's not that the Right or Left is is inherently right or wrong, it's that our leaders have lost the ability to compromise and get things done. The common man wants to know how to take care of Grandma, now that her Alzheimers has progressed that she needs to stay in the spare bedroom because the family can't afford the care she needs at the nice place on the other side of town. And their kid carries $75K college debt paying a 5.5% interest rate to the Febs while their meager savings earns 0.02% at the credit union. What is your god Donald Trump doing about that?

Well, you have the White House and both houses of Congress, yet you fight among yourself and can't get anything done, regardless of its benefit or detriment to the majority of citizens. What ever happened to all of Trump's things he said he'd do on the first 100 days?

Oh yeah... it's the Liberals fault... eye rolling smiley

Well Mr BMW driver, how come the left has lost so many elected seats?

Are you trying to tell us something with your driving BMW?

Myself I can afford BMW, actually a whole lot more.

Guess what, no matter how fancy a car you drive, you ONLY get ONE vote!

You seem for the last 18 months or so to have been wrong.

And you still are presently.

Maybe if you will buy 2 or 3 more BMWs you'll become a little smarter.
You reckon?

You bask yourself with fake news.

So according to you, Bill Gates can call all of us fools right?

Dems don't come out in congressional voting years. That's too bad. Of course, GOP gerrymandering doesn't help Democrats either.

Our Founding Fathers probably wouldn't like that. John Adams wrote in 1776 that no good could come from enfranchising more Americans:
Depend upon it, Sir, it is dangerous to open so fruitful a source of controversy and altercation as would be opened by attempting to alter the qualifications of voters; there will be no end to it. New claims will arise; women will demand the vote; lads from 12 to 21 will think their rights not enough attended to; and every man who has not a farthing, will demand an equal voice with any other, in all acts of state. It tends to confound and destroy all distinctions, and prostrate all ranks to one common level.
So Buster, I suggest we weight voting influence based on education. One vote for a HS degree, two for a bachelors, three for a masters and four for a PhD. You good with that? (That would sure knock out a bunch of Deplorables.)

And, oh yes... I love BMWs. In fact. I get a new one about every three months.

Go-rebels,
Looks like a swing and a miss in the Ga 6 district.
The left outspent the right 5.5 to 1.
Go fund me seems failed.

I'll make a wager right now.
You keep Pelosi around until the midterms, the left will possess fewer seats than they do currently.
And Bernie too.

Even seems this junk news isn't working either.

When Pelosi speaks, can you hear the big hollow spot between here ears?
Not much there.
She is also part of the reason for Hillary's loss electorally.
Time to cann Nancy, you know it's time.
She might as well go, she will never be speaker again anyway.
Go to have the majority to be speaker.

Go-rebels a lot of BMWs (actually just an overpriced VW) could have been bought with the 24.5 million spent in the Ga 6th by the left,

Wait until the Republican Healthcare Bill becomes law. That will be a new day for political opinion. Of course the Republicans might never come up with a plan of their own to become law. Exciting times ahead.

Obama Care is law, a complete disaster and is self distructing. Trying to fix the Dems' huge screw up and total failure isn't going to be easy. The Federal Government should have never gotten involved in the healthcare 'insurance' business in the first place. Without doubt the Dems will try to place all the blame on the Pubs. That's going to be a hard sell because more and more people are wising up to the leftwing's BS and lies.

Obama Care is law, a complete disaster and is self destructing.

Anthem recently left Ohio mainly because of the uncertainty related to promised federal subsidies. The conservatives in Congress and the WH are making no effort to stabilize these markets. From Anthem:
In announcing the decision, Anthem said that setting prices and making decisions about ACA plans has become “increasingly difficult due to the shrinking individual market as well as continual changes in federal operations, rules and guidance.” The insurer said the market remains “volatile,” and it cited the uncertainty surrounding key issues including federal payments that help reduce costs for low-income ACA enrollees.

The insurer said an “increasing lack of overall predictability simply does not provide a sustainable path forward to provide affordable plan choices for consumers.”

Go rebels,
Wonder when the left will wake up and smell the roses?
Think about this.
Where are the leaders of the senate and house on the right,,who or where do they represent?
Ky and Wi right.

Now look where the looney left,,their leaders from Ca and NY.
No wonder why the left has lost middle America.

These lefty extremist trying to capture mid America, won't happen.

The left needs leaders a lot closer to the mainstream.
And they need leaders who will agree at least some times with Trump-Key.

Pelosi won't make it till Labor Day.
She is finished big time.
The left has awoken and Pelosi's support is fixing to collapse.
She should have quit as a representative when the left lost the majority.
She is the one who seems power hungry.
Enough is enough.
Nancy team up with H and head for the woods.
And don't come out.

Just what sensible democrat trying to hold their seat in a purple state would want Nancy sniffing around them?
The female Sen from Mo, her azz is history when she is up for reelection.
Wanta bet on that one?

Btw Obama can't save the party either.
A total leadership vacuum in progress with the left.

People want leadership, some more on the left might just view Trump as their go to person with each passing day.

Solar wall on the border.
What a grand idea!

Gotta watch Godzilla.
He's tough and smart.
