$6000.00 is beyond even the most hard core coin & relic hunter.
Cache and maybe Meteorite Hunter? Not many going to buy a machine to hunt a cache.

Unfortunately he doesn't use it that much - in fact he does not use any of his arsenal of detectors much these days -

Like everything Makro, it appears to do what the manufacturer claims it will do - I can only comment on the build quality and basic functions, as I only had a play around with it for about an hour - One thing to remember is that Makro started with the deep units before releasing their line of hobby detectors to the market - The CF77 being the first from memory & its abilities were and still are today, very capable indeed.

I know this does not address the particular unit you mentioned sir (OP) but I hope what I posted helps a little
