Back @ the Spanish Trail with the R2 & OOR Coil

Sadly in just a couple of weeks the weeds have taken over, so I lost 75% of my hunting grounds sad smiley

I focused on the area that I last picked up a reale and a beautiful large Phoenix button from, and although the finds were sparse, it didn't disappoint!

This was the total take, more or less, minus a few pitched bullet casings eye rolling smiley

Right next to where I dug the PB I dug these two one piece cuff buttons both with intact loops on the back. The stock coil didn't make a sound on these, and there is a bit of iron in this area (dug an awesome square nail spike kind of thing!). They're both marked "Treble Gilt" and something like "R&H.W.", cannot quite make out the initials, which are no doubt the button maker. I'd estimate these are late 1700's to early 1800's.

That little bronze/copper disc came in like a perfect coin signal, though for sure I had a penny or dime.....and that bronze round horse thingy sounded pretty darn good too.

Thanks for looking & HH,
Brian

Why the heck would you make this post, bLowboy? I don't think it's smart to question other people's finds in this fashion. Can't see what would make you assume anything.
