I'm looking for a good used Bigfoot Coil for my MXT. I will offer $600 for one in good condition.

Come up from time to time. They are awesome for athletic fields as I leave mine on my XL-PRO as I have more of those spots then older spots these days.

These spots at least get replenished unlike older spots. Made most money back that I paid for mine and haven't hit but a couple spots. Also they are imune to EMI as never had a issue.

Another plus for the BigFoot is that they are blind when it comes to bottle caps. I don't ever remember digging a bottle cap when using a BigFoot. Been using them since 1990.

I only have two for the DFX. Sold off my 6.59 kHz BigFoots some time back. I'm hoping Makro will make one to use on my Racer 2. Maybe then I'll part with my last two.

Try shootin' the guy on the bay a 600.00 offer as you never know? I have bought a lot of stuff on there with half offered. Sometimes they just throw out a big price to see if anyone will bite.

Tom I had the big foot and the hot shoot on the XLT is was not deep and something I would not go relic hunting with. Now if your into parks then it did well there but with all of the trash now at parks not sure I would want one for even $100.00confused smiley

The problem with the depth is that the coil is only 3.5" wide so you'll only get about the same depth as a round 3.5" coil. But depth is not what the BigFoot is about. It's not a RELIC coil, it's a shallow coin and jewelry vacuum for large expanses of sand and turf. I'll buy two from Makro also!

No, it was 100.00, the detector was only 150.00. I see listed new for 170.00, but I lucked out and got one practically unused on ebay.
