RIF vs CORS Coil

Does anyone have any info on using either of these coil manufacturers ?
Looking at getting a 6.5 x 3.5 coil and found that these companies each build that size. It will be for my Minelab Explorer. Any advice would be appreciated.

Bought a brand new 10x14" RIF coil for my F75 early in 2015. The RIF coil only works with my F75 in disc mode. Overloads in All Metal. Coil is too big for my EMI enviroment so I seldom use it on my F75.

I mostly use it on my 7.8 kHz units. Its not really compatible with them so no weak signals are passed but it hits real hard in the 0 to 7" mark before it turns off. I replaced my Cleansweep with it for sports field ring hunting.

I could still get 6-7" coins with the NEL Snake on an E-trac. Very tight footprint. The higher noise cancel channels threw ID off. Had to stay 0-6 on channels. My biggest complain is people stretch the coiled cable out and it loses elasticity easily and a major pain to pull through and compress in a shaft.
