I don't need no stinkin' Tesoro!

Just tried out my MX Sport w/10" DD coil on Monte's nail board test. The difference is I used all 2 1/2" nails. That's all I had. The only problem was swinging from the upper right #3 to the lower left #3/ It tended to give me a delayed reaction, but a great diggable signal, nevertheless.

I knew that I was digging good signals next to nails when I dug up several CW bullets. Now I know why.

This detector is also better in modern trash than the Noka Fors Core I previously owned.

I expect the 7" coil will be even better.

I performed the test with the proper nails. Made no difference. Perfect except the #3 angle it gave a delayed reaction but still a consistent diggable tone. I think that the good signal it gives between the center of the coil and the edge is easily mistaken for an iron spike when it's not.

Also placed the Nickel in the # 2 spot. Passed with flying colors.

That's pretty good for 10" DD. Still love the tesoros tho

Just received my 7" coil. Did the Monte nail board test. Not only did the MXS pass with flying colors, I added a nail on top of the Nickel and it still gave a good signal! I wish I had a Tesoro to compare, but the MXS is close to it in target separation for sure!

Maybe Keith will give it another shot!

Maybe if you plead to tnss he will buy you a Tesoro...worth a shot
