The 1840s - 1940s Forgotten Ghost-town That Never Stops Giving grinning smiley

Took the CTX (6" coil) and Musky (7" coil) out for another 2 days worth of diggin at my fav ghost-town site that never ceases to impress with all it continues to give after 5 yrs now/since I found it thumbs down

1st day (Friday was cold/miserable drizzle/sleet and wind) so I didn't get any infield pics that day and today (Sunday) was decent low 40s no rain/etc but both days I had to fight the mud sticking to me/boots, shovel, detector, phone, etc!

Pics tell the story but worth mention

a few toe taps
a nice heal plate
1917 merc
1925 and 40s wheats
a 1867 two center
a 1863 Detroit MI store card
a WWI/WW2 Gen service coat button
some sweater/cuff buttons
old spoon
brass buckle
giant barn spike
some bits/pieces of pewter, lead, copper, brass, harmonica reeds, etc
Not shown is a nice axehead I dug, some large/r iron, a pot belly stove foot, and some other large relics still in the back of the truck smiling smiley

Hope you'all are gettin out and diggin some good stuff to thumbs down

MRH

Thanks guys

my fav pieces are the 1863 store card/token from Detroit (since I'm on the opposite side of the state) which makes it a rare find here and I like the heel plate too thumbs down

Nice finds. Boy that's one large field, bet that thing gives up goodies every year after it turned up.

I enjoy the different makes of heel plates that can roll out of a plug.

Great job up that way bud

Can’t image hunting that entire field in 10 years.

Congrats on the finds.
