Can I see a video comparison with the depth Racer 2?
Is it possible to see video of the detector work in the area of the sea?
What level of water protection at the detector?

We will have videos available later BUT we, as a company, prefer the users/testers to post their videos so other customers do not think they are biased.
IMPACT has 12 different modes that are designed for different targets and that will work in different terrains including wet beach sand.
The unit is not waterproof - only the coil is submersible.

The unit has a built-in 2.4GHz wireless module. The headphones are the same as the Gold Racer / Racer 2 headphones but without a dongle.

How will he react to the waves of the sea?
It can spoil the detector from the spray of the waves?

Any detector that is not waterproof, whether it is the Impact or any other model out in the market, should not be used under heavy rain.

There are videos of the Racer, available online, being used on the beach without an issue. IMPACT will perform similarly.
As long as the water does not go in the system box / battery compartment it will be OK.

Interesting crossover from Makro to Nokta. Makro makes the Racer series, but Nokta makes the Makro flagship?

So I can leave the headphone dongle in my Racer2 but use the headphones on both the R2 and Impact?

I just got my wireless headphones, looking forward to testing them out and hopefully also testing out the Impact when it's released.

Any info on a Makro version? You can email me if you need to. As you know the US Nokta dealer market is very limited.

Decent price in my opinion.

I'm surprised about the price. I was expecting as flagship model Pro pack to be around $1500 ie; 50% more than the Racer 2 Pro pack. Instead the Racer 2 Pro Pack got a price reduction and the Impact Pro Pack got slotted into the $1000 range.

Now that's what I call " Brotherly Love"!

Need to chime in here...Nokta and Makro used to be owned by two brothers and they were actually competitors. End of 2014, Nokta bought Makro and it is all under the same umbrella now owned by a single person.

Well, we asked them not to because we just sent them a new update.
It is not that we are hiding anything but something we changed in the new version would not be reflected in the vidoes which can mislead buyers in the future unless the videos are updated, too or removed.

the MXS is probably a better option for you

these are NOT waterproof units nor have we ever been led to believe that they were

However, in saying that, I am sure both Nokta/Makro are working on one but for now
they look like they are getting the performance & capabilities of their products dialed in -
from what I have experienced and seen regarding the Nokta/Makro units is that they
appear to go really well on wet salty beaches so when a waterproof unit does come from
one or more of those stables, I am sure it will be a sound performer -

whats your point? - You do realize both Makro & Nokta are now one with their two different brands?

Nokta, please consider implementing 3 or 4 tones in the DEEP mode. If I know one thing, NASA-TOM knows his stuff and that's one of the requests I saw him ask for the most.

Have to agree with this, not a big fan of detecting in two tone mode.

I'm jealous of those who have been testing it, but I definitely take their suggestions as a benefit for all of us, especially if they are implemented.

I can see where a relic hunter would reject the request of coin hunters...... by not wanting a 3'rd tone for DEEP (mode) coins. The Impact would then remain primarily targeted for the relic hunter.
