How do you post a pic when you do a new topic? Many thanks for the assistance and a Happy New Year to those on the forum and hope it brings you and your family a wonderful year...

Create account.
Load image
Select size
Upload pic
Select or copy address data in box labeled for message boards or forums

Paste in your post here.

You have choices for size.

You have to use a picture hosting site then past the picture link in the post

upload pix copy Image (IMG) code and paste into the forum message box

Yes Sven,

I have loaded pics with no account, or logging in using tiny pic.
Problem is, seems the pics timeout eventually.
Become unavailable for viewing.
Logging in seems using account seems to prevent this.

I could be wrong in saying what I have here.
But I had a few pics that were not viewable by doing.

And haven't had a problem since loading all pics using account.

Thank you for the extra info Sven. Looking at the pic of the girl who gave away the detector.. All i can say is if she were my girlfriend, i would tell her that was a mistake of biblical proportions...

You can use Flickr [www.flickr.com]

Upload an image and then click on the image and at the bottom of the screen to the right side is Share Photo. Click on that and copy what comes up and paste it here.

This site is so old fashioned. I don't think it has changed since I first came here over a decade ago. I remember having to use a photo host on forums back in the old days. Now it's too much of a hassle to bother with.

Most forums today have the ability to upload pics directly from your computer or device. On some, when posting a video link, the video can be watched right in the post. This site could really use an upgrade.

One thing that bugs me about this forum is when replying to a post using a quote, why is the quote all broken up with >>>>>> down the left hand side? It makes the quote difficult to read and takes up a ton of space.
