Do you have 2x4s available to do the 3D nail test?

Does the Nox have a Volume Gain or any type Modulated Audio adjustment? And a 4 Tone I.D. option? Thanks.

It would be interesting to repeat the test with a copper penny rather than a zincoln.

Looks like the Equinox is even obsoleting its own single frequency modessmiling smiley

Dibs if you sell it before I can get my own from the dealer smiling smiley

I'm interested in knowing if there are any detection differences (stronger or weaker) between the Park modes and other modes, while using the same targets as a base line.

For example, if I were wanting to go hunt old coins, but say my site is an old home site or farm field, would the park mode be the better choice or might it be one of the other modes...or is park mode just suited for modern clad coin shooting in parks? Does that make sense in what I'm trying to say?

One of the first tests I was going to do with mine was to take a few base line targets, and check them using all the modes and see if there is really any difference between them, and if so, which program/modes do best for each target or target group.

Ditto on this desire,
and speaking on multi vs single frequency I also find this very interesting along with a 6 week delay

Excellent result in multi freq TNSS, especially the elevated nail test, that's defo stepping into Deus territory !

This is one of the first things I look at. Will run through my garden on deeper targets so it's easier to see the difference from modes and settings. I have a 600 coming though not 800. Not as fine-tuned on the iron bias and recovery setting changes but still should show differences.

My dealer hasn't gotten mine in yet but I was able to snag one online this morning so at some point I will AT LEAST have an extra 600 on hand to sell. Will have to wait and see if it's worth keeping one of them.

I would settle for a 600 myself. A buddy just texted me and said there was a 600 on the shelf at Cabelas but no 800. I was going to go get it but figured I would call first and have them put it back for me, as Cabelas is over an hour away. When I called they said they didn't have any in stock but did have x-terra 705s. Oh well. Back to waiting.

Sod, This is an odd request. Can you measure the handle for me from shaft to the Box? And how does it compare to the Fors Relic handle? More room or less room? I have very large hands so this does make a difference in my decision to buy or not.

Hey MRH --

I have enjoyed reading some of your stuff in the past. But I for one will say -- that was wrong.

YOU may not want to read what Sod has to say. No problem. Clearly, you can't stand the guy. However, I for one, feel that I can learn a few things from some of what he posts. I was interested.

He spelled it out clearly, in his first post in this thread, that if anyone gets negative, the posts will end. And knowing this -- you willfully decided, for ALL of us, to shut his posts down. Rather selfish move on your part, no? You knew exactly what you were doing, and clearly you thought that YOUR desire to shut him down, should be enforced on ALL of us. Just because you don't like the guy, and don't care to read his posts, doesn't really mean you ought to be able to decide to shut the posts down for the rest of us.

I do not know the story on the clear feud that exists, nor do I want to. Obviously, there's stuff behind the scenes I'm not privy to. But, in my opinion, it doesn't need to play out in public here.

You shut him down -- intentionally. Not cool. Petty, immature, and frankly, rather arrogant.

Steve
