Am I just the only one who doesn't want a Equinox?

WATERPROOF to 5 meters!!!!! Waterproof earphones?? What waterproof earphones??

WHY would you mkt. a WaterProof machine and Not have any WaterProof earphones to go with it?? AAAAAHH just throw'em a few crumbs.

So far the EQ using 40KZ is the bomb. While I have tested Micro on the beach another fellow in the area has gone out and is finding small gold ear rings and chains in sanded conditions. No light feat considering the amount of sand they have pumped on our beaches. Will be out next week and trying his setup. I'm keeping this one for the beach but as a land hunter I find big nails are going to be a problem. So far for me in limited use bottle caps show as good target and with the E T I can tell its a cap 90% of the time on the beach. So many positive things about the MD means its staying.

Bottled caps.
Try this.
They will usually read 10-17 ID using multi freq with q tad of dodgy sounding tone.
Set up program using user profile feature with 5khz.
Sweep a cap in Multi freq, flip to your other program sweep using 5khz, cap ID should jump a lot. Equinox won't do this on nonferrous it seems. Now it would be possible for Equinox when switching to 5khz, for the target to drop out altogether, if this happens likely smaller lower conductor, or heavier masked nonferrous.
User profile option is great little asset/option.

It appears no one in the entire country of France wants an Equinox if this is true , or perhaps XP and Minelab have a court settlement

Need some different coils for the above.

Pretty good combo above. Should do most folks about anywhere.

Ill say it..... water phones and cable are accessories. Not to me.... to me as a water guy they are necessities. It takes me about 10 min. To do a CTX connector on a pair of phones..... im old and slow. Waterproof buds ...even blue tooth ones we can get. Dontdo much good under water. I do thank ML for wwireless.

I might hold off for a few years until they add a + (plus) to the name -
