First Gold Coin!

Wow, congrats, I been detecting about 20 years, found some gold nuggets, but never a gold coin. You got to hit that place again.

Only took me 26 years Tom. Your getting close..

It’s a park I hit somewhat regularly..
It’s been pounded to death but obviously still gives up a keeper now and then..
I’m very happy if I pull one silver out of there on a 3-5 hour hunt..
I’ll go back and clean out that area I found the coin.. It was at the end of my hunt and I couldn’t even think straight
after I found it.. Just did a rescan of the hole and a 25’ circle around it..

I wasn’t going to post this video because it was my first, and I really wasn’t prepared..
I was carrying around a new GoPro that I hadn’t found a mount for yet when I found my gold coin..
It’s not real polished and I was acting half goofy after the find, but here it is..
Finding your first Gold Coin definitely affects your thinking and actions..
Wish I would have thought to do a live dig..
