I can't see myself doing that. The machine runs great and if you replace the screen, it could easily sell for $1500-$1700

Good question will require a new lcd/ribbon assembly I would bet

Was it this way out of the box or did it happen after a fall/impact with something? Reminds me when a pressure on laptop lcd where ribbon connects gets damaged and pixels virtically from damaged location do this.

I had one do the same thing 2 years ago, I was told $185 by Marty at Minelab.That price did not include shipping.

I had a power box and a screen fixed..cost almost 700.00 with shipping....He told me the power box was 400.00 and something....So I would think Would cost around 225.00 after shipping!
