Tom, does this mean you're out a detecting partner for the foreseeable future? You should take applications for a temporary hunting partner until Brian gets his kitchen pass back.

Since Brian is going to be out of circulation for the foreseeable future, I bet you could borrow his 800 and Multi-Kruzer for some field work and testing.

Haha, you're durned right. One spot we've never even been back to yet, gave up an 1862 S $10 gold. We keep meaning to get back for another trek, but are waiting for spring grass heights to abate. Another spot gave up Brian's gold coin, and has given up numerous seateds @ 1850s/60s. It's not done yet either. And yet the most recent reconn'd research site gave up an 1849 French silver coin and oodles of age indicators. But .... like our other sites, continue to be "back-burner" for "future trips" spots.
