The 15" coil should be out by now?

I thought the 15" coil was supposed to be out on April 1st? I guess if anyone had one at hand they would already post, but just curious to see if anyone ordered one yet? Tom, I would imagine you would be one of the first people to get your hands on one of these?

Dave J. posted online that they were busy cranking these out, but thus far it's been crickets in the heat of the night.

Meaning what? That these haven't reached stores yet, or that people are not buying them or not posting about their experiences? Oh well, sooner or later there will be a video on you tube, give or take a month or 2.

No.......I do not have one (yet).

They sure increase your coverage and usually get more depth but also pick up more mineralization and masking and the weight in most cases is a minus.

I don't understand what the big deal is unless you guys are planning on beach hunting or in wide open clean areas...and that's basically what the response was to my thread regarding the 12" SunRay coil.

Different tools for different jobs. It's nice to have the right tool when you need it. Big coils aren't only for beaches and open fields, you would be surprised
