Countermine technology. So my equinox really is an ALL PURPOSE detector. I'm going to take it out to the backyard and see if it can locate all those 'mines' my dog has left in the lawn. This will make doggy cleanup a cinch.

Yep. Paying sponsors of a magazine aren't gonna allow for anything negative to be said about their products. I have zero faith in magazine tests.

You are correct. Most magazines require the manufacture to pay for the review and the more you pay, the better and more extensive the review.
This is not a statement made just to support your opinion, its first hand knowledge and fact.
