I believe the Update software still says 4 but when you run it you now have 5.0 available as an option on the update list. Haven't run it to verify.

I upgraded both of mine. It made some nice changes. Volume for one is better.. now just wait for my new coil to arrive

I upgraded to version 5 this afternoon. I have the old, not X35, 11" LF coil. I just went out to my test garden (mild black dirt) where I have a quarter at 13". The test garden is not old but at 14 months it's not brand new either. Before the version update, my deepest program would give a signal on the quarter but no ID. If anything the dirt is now drier than it was then and with the new version 5 I am getting a signal AND a correct ID number (97 at 4 khz) with the same program !!!!

They've done something right.

I updated both of my units.
All 3 of my LF coils recognized and updated.

Hf coils not recognized hence not updated with version 5.

Went with out a hitch.
