A big Congrats. Was that a Canadian Quarter I caught a glimpse of? Nice to find an Old/Gold Coin spill.

Took me 20 yrs to find my 1st one and 10 more to find my 2nd/last one

Thats a very nice Viccy Sovereign,that was possibly the last year that they made those coins as she died in Jan 1901,is its a full Sovereign or a half Sovereign ??? both of course are very nice finds but of course the full Sovereign would be worth more due to be slightly larger and heavier.

It makes the old ticker miss a few beats when you find the old yellow coinage winking smiley

Thank you smiling smiley The quarter is a 1918 worn pretty good the soverign has some wear. It was coming up 12-39 but there was silver in the hole driving numbers up I eill see today ehat it comes up as by itself.

Took me 15 years and I never held one before do wasnt 100% on ehat I had. Fooled so many times.

I'm not sure if it's a full or half it weighs 7.98 grams maybe you can let me know. Has a P mint mark so perth.

Going by the weight of 7.98 grams it would be a full Viccy Sovereign,so a very nice piece of 22 carat gold.

Wonderful and special find. 45 years following coils around and best I have done gold coin wise is recover two 1/10 oz Panda Bear coins in bezels. Nice digs. HH jim tn
