Well I'm thinking xp would not have just made a coil with one more frequency for a reason.. I think an update down the road will be the ability to run all 5 frequencies simultaneously.

Could Minelab sue XP again? I'm not sure what patents Minelab might have concerning the multi technology.

Many, many ways to do multifreakers. The XP/ML thing was about downloadable software updates.

They have sued Whites and XP over wireless data transfer patent. Whites lost and XP settled out of court. They can't sue Minelab because ML patented the tech before XP/Whites

I always wondered how XP got around that. We didn't get any software updates during the lawsuit
