Thanks, Minelab, for native Mac update capability for the Equinox

I have downloaded the updater for the Equinox but have not installed it yet.
But I've read the details and really appreciate that Minelab has shown consideration for we Mac users by providing an update utility for us.

To my knowledge this is a first in the detector industry. Hopefully others will choose to follow this lead and support their customers who run Macs.

I successfully applied the EQ update using my Macbook and yes, kudos to Minelab for getting out both the update and having mac support!

curious if the move from 1.5.0 to 1.7.5 represents many iterations in the firmware, ie many versions tested first prior to deciding on this being the update.

Yup that was awesome, used my MacBook and was easy and worked great.

Wish they had a Linux version, but the user base is too small to acknowledge. I have to keep a version of Windows installed in Virtualbox for my Deus updates.
