Big plans from France. New today on MD-Hunter website - pretty glamorous stuff

[md-hunter.com]

A leak? An announcement? I have no idea.

Or just a total fake?

Seems like pretty strange marketing if real - available in 2 years???

2020 is really just barely over a year away, but perhaps it's roadmap material for dealers?

No idea if it's fake news or the real McCoy, but if it's legit, I'm in on the glasses haha

Common sense tells me, that this pinpointer "idea" is not going to work.

You would have to dig very wide holes to be able to pinpoint.
Then there is a chunk of iron near the coil...
Electronic parts in a high impact tool? How many swings would it last? 10?
A display near the tip? It would be crushed the first time, the handle meets the edge of the hole (or a stone, or a root).
This product would have to be sold with a one hour warranty.

No wonder they are "silent" about it winking smiley.

This is a fake it has been debunked already the video was first published on youtube, the owner of the fake told us he just did that for the fun. The pinpointer is a clue to the fake anyway lol x2000 figured it out.

The funny part is that the app to control the detector has already been done. I saw one last week. The developer assured me that he had done it just for fun, since it wasn’t a great idea anyway. Why use an expensive phone, which puts out lots of RF emissions (unless you put it in airplane mode) to control a detector when cheap push pads or knobs can do the same thing. Also, who wants to use their grimy hands on the expensive phone?

this part too,but there is a nice detector using this principle and it called air metal detector ( no its not made of air) [airmetaldetectors.com] could be a good machine to let in your trunk as a spare.
But i totaly agree with you , smartphone are expensive , and you dont want any dirt crap of whatever on it considering its working with the touch and most of them are not waterproofed.
