UPDATE: 10/27/18 Old Fairgrounds Finds! Went Back Again

Been wanting to dig this place for about a yr now since my buddy and I found it late last fall but couldn't get on it until now.

It's an old fairgrounds partially on a church grounds and partially in a farm field now from 1860s - 1920s out in BFE near 2 small towns forgotten by time basically. Did a ton of research to find the place/exact spot and had to get permission from the church that now owns the property. So today we finally made the 1 hr drive but didn't get there until nearly 5;00pm since my buddy has wife/diggin issues and had to fight just to get a few hrs to go

I told him = if you've gotta fight every single time you want to go diggin = you've gotta find a new wife or just divorce and stay single! Hell, I've been thru 3 wives/long term relationships but my love for diggin still remains! I was diggin long before I met any of them and have been/will be diggin long after they're gone = is and has always been my philosophy

Didn't get any pics of the grounds themselves but here's what I got as for coins today.

Edit: Used Multi Kruzer with stock coil today. Moderate to heavy iron present on entire site. Very little modern trash

Trip #2 today.

Went back with the trusty Deus and scoured over some area for a couple hrs that I didn't get to last time.

Buddy didn't get anything worth mention but I got these 2 coins!

1850s/60s Silver .03 center (heavily worn)

and

an 1876cc Seated Dime

Man those 3 centers sure got used a lot.....you would think more would turn up. I guess their small size and thinness keeps them almost invisible to most detectors and operators.
Way to go MRH...gotta love an old farm where the farmers wife wasn't a very good seamstress or didn't darn pockets.
