Actually rattle snakes are getting a bad rap here. If you don't mess with them or step on them or make them think you are going to, you have little to fear from them. "Don't tread on me" was our flag early on. There is a fascist minority in every country. Unfortunately they often seem to have exerted their influence to hold power and seek ever more power. Nothing I know is worse than crony socialism. Communism is just another name for the same rose. IMHO

China's government isn't our friend or ally; it's our biggest enemy. Let's not forget that China is a communist/socialist country that has killed and enslaved tens of millions of its own citizens. Buying cheap goods from them is just feeding the dragon. We're all guilty of it to some degree.
