My last Gold Coin

Found at a Delaware Mill Site with a Nautilus 2B.

Nautys love them little Gold dollar coins for some reason.

Don't say that's your last gold coin Tex. You probably got a few more to come.

Wish I could say my first gold coin....closest I ever came was a token shiny and same size as one dollar variety ...perhaps over next hill...

Tex, congrats and there's just nothing like a gold coin coming out of the hole!!

Anything in particular that lent the find to the specialism of the Nautty?

I bet it was that soft sweet modulated disc. only tone?
I dug all My best keepers on a Nauty with that tone.
Once you learn it you don't forget it.
The owner of Rebel Metal Detectors said He dug half dozen of them or so with his Nauty with that tone.

A golden find there Tex.
You should be defrosting a bit by now.
Tomorrow even more defrosting.
Then the flood this week end or Monday.

Nice thing about the snow and rain is the field grass should be flat as a pancake for next week
