Torsoro repairs

I believe Torsoro is no longer in business. I have a friend whose Sand Shark needs some repairs....anyone know who does it?

I heard Keith Willis (in TX).

Know how to contact him? I also heard Jack Gifford was still doing them....... but ive no way of contacting him either. I got a recommendation to try some of the facebook pages which may help.

I sent my CZ70 to Keith Willis around 10 years ago. He claimed he could tune it up. He had that machine for close to 2 years, I thought I’d never get it back. I got tiered of all the excuses him and his wife were giving me. I ended up having just him send the machine back to me. At that time he had ALOT of other unhappy customers that weren’t getting their machines repaired, or least taking forever to fix.
IDK...maybe he has things worked out however I’d never send anything to him again. I give Rusty Henry a call, we was the main man at TESORO. I’ve got his number if anyone needs it.

I know Keith had some health problems awhile back. I sent him a Wilson RC II that was in rough shape and needed a new battery check switch. It was done and looking like new in less than a week.
So I have nothing but good to say about his service.

Sometimes ...... it who you know that gets repairs done swiftly and RIGHT.

So surprised some of the x-employees haven't provided repair services. Could it be limited availability of parts or something else I'm overlooking?

Ex employees probably don't have the equipment or parts at home to do repairs. Unless they walked out the door after work everyday with a part or two..........Wonder if Tesoro ever had a backroom scrapyard of detectors and parts.

I’m told by Darren @ Gold Lady Tesoro sold this place all their stuff, they were the Lazer distributors, I think.....
They also do repairs and custom mods.

I figured Pentechnic would have offered to buy up the remaining stuff, since they have a huge investment in Lazer detectors (Tesoro, rebranded, modified).
Drawback for Americans is they are based in the UK. But, at least you know where to get some service and or parts.

I would not send anything to K. to be repaired. I sent him a detector some years, ago. He promised to have it finished in 2-3 weeks. MONTHS later, I had to argue with him to get it back. It had not been touched !!
