Merry Christmas
December 25, 2018 03:21PM
Merry Christmas to everyone on the forum. Special thanks to Tom D. for providing us a place to get together to talk about the hobby that we all enjoy so much. I also want to thank all of you that have bought detectors and detecting items from me, I would never try to steer anyone away from their dealer but am here if anyone wants a price on anything that I carry. Hope everyone has a safe & happy holiday. Steve

Merry Christmas to you too Ski Whiz and everyone else too.
This forum seems is going on 13 years of info sharing.

This forum may have just broke a record too, with the Tarsacci MDT unit.

Lots of good info buried in this forum.
Search engine is limited though.

Folks trying to locate info using model designation of detectors best to do google search using model leave a little space and add in your search danksowski forum, or may Dankowskidetectors.com at the end of your search.

Merry Christmas to All and a Happy New Year too! smileys with beer

Yes, this forum is going on 13 years now. That is part of the reason for the slow and poor search results, a 13 year old Phorum platform. When starting this forum at Tom's direction, I had no idea what platform to use, so I looked at another 'popular' Metal Detecting website and used what they were using. Probably not the best choice in Forum platforms, but it really hasn't had too many problems over the years. Not a lot of Bells and Whistles, but it does work at the basic level. Thanks to all who post here, the content of the site I think makes up for the outdated forum platform.

The kids have their Snapchat and god knows what else. Us eternally optimistic types who delve in the dirt have various forums where we can discuss and learn - and - of course disagree. Of all the forums I have haunted over the last 10 years or so, this one ties for top place and is my favorite besides. The other - tied for top place is Steve Herschbach’s.

In a world filled with nonsense, brilliance, joy and sadness, this little corner means a lot to me. thanks Tom

And to all - as the Icelanders say (they being the closest in speech to the Vikings) - Gleðileg jól! Happy Yuletide!

Merry Christmas to you Wally.
You do a fine job here.
One nice thing about this forum, it loads up fast for me.
Some of those others takes longer, a lot longer at times.

On multiple occasions...… I nearly lost my life...… fighting for something called: "Freedom". I know that I don't talk about it much (by choice).
In summation: I have a different order-of-magnitude 'appreciation' for...… FREEDOM OF SPEECH. Subsequently/hence;..…. an exceptionally-open forum. . . . by choice.
No two personalities are alike. Differences are inevitable. "Civilized" emulates/radiates intelligence.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Good things have arrived!
More good thing(s) to come!
