Opening a cz 3d ???

I need to get the control box open on my cz 3d to repair the battery contacts and I don't need to break anything. Anyone have any experience? Looks like two screws on the next to the search coil connector . . . Appreciate any advice

Send it to Tom, He will fix it and get you more depth.

Unscrew/disconnect coil cable.
Unscrew (and remove) both Philips screws on either side of the coil connector.
Place ONLY your thumb on the female coil connector......and press HARD...…. to push the electronics out of the unit...…..,,,,,,,,,, which starts with the faceplate.
Be very careful sliding the entire electronics (and attached faceplate) out of the black control box...…..as ……. there are many attached and 'snagging' wires to contend with.
