That trip started off slow but ended up a pretty good day. Damned if you didn't call that eagle button. ,

Blind squirrel finds an acorn every now and then...Keith found a tiny piece of blue feather in the modern road and I knew we had to be close but it was tucked in tight on a small ridge by the creek.

Nice find Calabash. I remember being stationed at Charleston. Easy digging in that soil. Pulled many a CW relic back in the 1980's.

Yeah it is. I live up in Brunswick County N.C. and it has some good soil in spots too.
