There's a Coinstrike for sale

I know it's a love it or hate it detector, I believe there's a couple members here in the former camp.

There's one for sale over on Finds. I'm no connection to the guy selling it, just thought I'd pass it along.

I think Ole' Daniel liked that Coinstrike for relic hunting as it could bust through that hot ground He has and get them deep minnie's.

One just sold on fleaBay for $175 plus 15or should for shipping.
Seems hit or miss with older detectors value.
A couple of a certain model will sell for a rather high price
then a few more will come up for sale and flop.

Strangely enough a Pantera just went for less than $200 last week.
I was thinking of bidding but I decided I am happy enough with the GS2
that mostly is used hunting sports fields

Actually that Pantera went for $225 last week, and it didnt come with a pole.

Condition is every thing towards price.

Damn right it is, when someone says mint it should be mint, bought or traded to many detectors supposedly " In mint condition" but no where near mint condition, or very good condition.

I liked a CoinStrike way back when.

My take on it is....old metal detectors are like old girl friends. You might have had fun with them a long time ago but there's a reason/reasons why you moved on to what you have now. There's a couple gals that I wonder about from time to time, how they are doing and all that but they all don't come close to measuring up to my wife. And as good as those machines were for their time...I wouldn't take 200 of them for my GPX and Nox.
