Any way to tell...

Coinstrike was a good unit but called rusty bottlecaps a coin....anyone ever find out a way to tell difference....rather than dig all of them...

Best you can do is turn Averaging off and hope for some iron bounce. But in reality, no. I never did, Dan. Not to say someone else figured out a way, though, maybe,

That's one reason they could never rival a CZ in old coin hunting scenarios. The CZs, Etrac/Explorers, and the Golden uMax I have are all good at ignoring or breaking up the 'Steel Crown' Bottle cap tone and hitting hard on the Coin type tones.

I had 2 Coin$trikes and I found some good stuff with them and I sold 1 to a local guy years ago and he uses them (he already had 1) for beach detecting and he swears that they are multi-Frequency like the CZ's said they run stable and deep in the wet sand. Oh yeah as far as bottle caps never did dig many not like the freakin pulltabs.
