Well,
We don’t see a lot of newer models coming from the industry as a whole.
This Simplex sounds simple. Imagine that!

Price sounds good too.
Will be in reach for lots of folks.

I’ll patiently wait.
Sounds like folks are awfully critical over what a $200-$400 detector.

Yeah remember folks paid over 2 grand for those leaking like sieves Minelab CtXs.

Thank you Dilek for responding.

Automatic ground balance is already very good.
By adding the function of manual (semi-automatic) ground balance, you will draw attention to this detector of very many people, including professionals.
For example, I pick myself an inexpensive compact detector for the role of a spare, which I would always have with me, in the trunk of a car.
The only thing I would like a detector like SimplEX, but working in multi-frequency mode (simultaneously operating frequencies)
ps: If such a multifrequency Simplex appears, then most likely I will just sell all my detectors and leave it in the singular smileys with beer

Hello! Not much other than it is in the works... I went through literally a few thousand names. I personally picked my 3 favorites.
If we announce the name now, people may be misled thinking we will release it soon so we will keep it to ourselves until we are close to launching the product itself.
Thank you for your understanding.

An example why we like to have a ground balance on our detectors . The Tesoro Lobo ST has tracking but no ground balance and its max depth on a dime is about 6".

On my Lobo ST I opened it up and adjusted the ground balance and it came alive and was on fire hitting my 10" test dime with the 5.75 concentric coil.

Just an example why we like to have ground balance on our detectors.

Thank you,
Rick

This may have already been asked but will the Simplex use the same coils as the Kruzer/Amfibio? Looking forward to the new pointer as well coming out!

I was thinking of handing down my red racer to my 8 year old son, but worried it will be to complex. this seems to fit the bill nicely.

Absolutely correct_Dilek is the best at marketing and support and it is a shame
the USA manufacturers do not put the same into marketing their products or
keeping their clients in the loop with whats going on etc etc.

That reminds me_When can we expect some new product lines to come out of
these big US manufacturers likes Whites, Garrett, Fisher, Teknetics etc?

We have seen so much from Minelab - Nokta - Makro etc but little from the big players. Why?

Dilek has written “The ground balancing is auto tracking.“ Hopefully that’s an exact description of the GB function.

We went through years of detector makers advertising “automatic ground balance” when their detectors had factory pre-set fixed GB. Even detectors with adjustable or ground tracking GB often had the tracking GB operate only in all metal (like the Lobo ST) with no carry over of the GB setting to the discriminate mode (of course, this Simplex doesn’t seem to hav a true all metal mode).

It would be interesting to get a fuller explanation of the GB in this machine. If it is an automatic adjusting tracking system that’s one thing, if “automatic” only means pre-set, that’s another.

In any event it sure is a lot of detector for the money.
