Hmm 2 pound coffee can.
It does have a set max ideal volume.
And cw bullets, could an average cu in displacement be estimated?
Would be easier if all bullets were same size.
And could a percentage factor be estimate for volume loss due to the way bullets fit in can?
Wonder if CW bullet averaged .28 ci volume displacement in container used.
Wonder what the max number ideally speaking would be possible?
And just how full is can ?

For gee whiz.
I filled a 3 pound coffee can with measured water.
It took 8 cups and was fillled all the way to the brim.
And 1 cup = 14.438 cubic inches
To clarify this is 1 US cup.

Most are fired. Some are dropped. Most are .58 3 ringers but not all. There are cleaner bullets mixed in too, as most of these came from the bullet fields.
A couple of the guesses are pretty darn close but nobody has it on the nose yet. I will announce the winner tomorrow around 9 eastern time and post the pic of the counted bullets and share the total weight of the can with the bullets in it. It has been fun to do.
