9" HF Deus coil vs X35 9" coil?

Would I benefit going from a 9" HF coil to a 9" X35 coil on my ORX? Or should I buy a 11" X35 coil for added depth and ground coverage in less trashy areas and just keep my 9" HF coil for iron and trash infested sites? What are your all's thoughts if you've used the HF and X35 is one better than the other?

Really your only advantage of a 9" x35 coil would be lower freq boost mode in trashy areas. Which you would still get with the 11" x35 coil. If you really think the lower freq of the X35 9" is your main focus then I would get one. Otherwise I'd say the 9 Hf coil has you well covered with its 14 kHz and get a 11" x35 coil.

I have been running my HF coil in 15.6 kHz and it gets my 10" dime in 3-4 bar mineralized dirt. I believe I will just get the 11" X35 and have all my hunting needs covered.

Heck ya man that's what I would do.

Even an 11 "coil versus 9" coil will not give a strong effect justifying its cost.
I compared the smallest HF Ellipse (equivalent to 5") coil against the biggest x35 Ellipse (equivalent to 11") in depth by 5 kopecks of the USSR.
The difference in depth for this target for these coils was 25% (34 cm vs 43 cm)

That's like 3" more depth right? 3" may get me more finds that have sank in the dirt just out of reach of the 9" coil.

A depth difference between 9" and 11" is expected at a level of 10%
Moreover, the heavy ground generally swaps the result.

I ran a 9” x35 coil for a while and returned to owner. I had and still have a 9” Hf coil.

For modern trash x35 has advantages over Hf coil. Why?
X35 user can select VDI ID norm off.. plus x35 coil allows for different levels of tx power while using 4khz (unlike LF coils)
Use of 4khz will keep a person off of the lower conductive bits of trash.
I thought the x35 coil I had was noisier than my Hf 9” coil.

Hf coil imo has advantage (small) for hunting in iron— runs at higher freq. Even while Hf coil is in middle band freq wise vs the x35 coil being in the highest band.

For general detecting x35 coil due to freq used (bands) likely would offer a user more ways to mitigate Emi vs Hf coil.

I never have run a 11” x35 coil.
