New Minelab detector “ Vanquish” ?

Has anyone heard a rumor about a new release soon from Minelab? Am I getting bad information? Just curious.

IF there is a new detector coming out, this roll out (which I still have seen anything about) feels more like the GO-FIND than an Equinox or CTX

What they need is an upgraded Nox to replace the CTX/Etrac. It will have better ID, GPS, etc. - all the bells the whistles I don't need as a beach hunter but other types of hunters do.

Or they could ask serious users of the Equinox on their website what about the Equinox would you like to see changed?. Actually use the update feature that was built into the cost of the Equinox. But until then we will put up with 53 pages of speculation. I hope it turns out to be a discriminating PI myself. Or a BBS unit in a waterproof small box.

I was digging through the Minelab patents last weekend in Australia patent office web site.

Seems they have applied for some new patents recently but probably for things down the road..but there was some on there about 15 months old for some Pulse and VlLF continuous wave in same patent at least in technologies explained for patent... saw a pic of new machine on Copernic search engine couple day's ago that linked to Minelab page but when you got to Minelab page it says removed..but the pic was up on Copernic..black unit with a straight rod square like explorer uses.heads up display on grip.??

Little birdie tells me new model on horizon. Maybe more than 1. Or one model that can be setup differently. So some smoke still. I think I know what Minelab is up to. It will become clear with time. They ain’t about to let anyone get ahead of them if they can help it. They want to retain/ continue their leader of the pack status. Will they?? We’ll see. The game of chess continues.

I'll be the first to call it the Quish.
There's surely a market for an Equinox 200, it's got to be an easier job to strip down the 600/800 to minimal guts, than come out with a 1000 model ( which will doubtless happen, just not so soon ).

The video seemed to be shot in dirty water while out of focus. Can this be a hint that their next unveiling will be out of a storm drain instead of an airplane? I am on the list for updates, but this is not very informative. I even cleaned my glasses and rewatched it. I even rotated my phone 180 degrees in case it was in Australian. I'll just have to wait I guess.

Could that be the actual detector? I see a closed clam shell coil, not for water and a CTX, GPZ size screen not Equinox size screen.

Hahahahaha who the hell knows? My MDT is all I need for awhile.

FWIW Minelab is still having trouble keeping supply of Equinox and Equinox accessories in the supply chain. Still frequently 1-2 week gaps of no supply for various items and detectors.

I don't know about tomorrow, but here's another teaser video from earlier today...

Coils look very EQ like, and for a split second, you can see what looks like the bottom of the EQ handle...but in red plastic...and with a very 'Deus-esque' rod latch'.
Zero details, but high quality vid.
