Brush hog is a great bait...

They go into absolute raptures with juicey woodchuck.

I don’t even fish and found it entertaining!

This one favorite pond I would use spinner-bait w/ buck-tail like you're using... hold the rod high and let the spinner flutter on the surface. Man you could see the wake of the bass coming at it !!BAHM!!!

Stocked up on new plastic swim baits and jigs as well as built 50 more in-line spinners. Hope to hit the Thames River this weekend, guys are catching walleyes.

you didn't mention anything about the gator! He wanted a piece of that spinnerbait. That was a good fishing trip!

Liked the video, Cal, and it helped to get the ole fishing juices flowing. As if I really needed them to. 10 days from now my 3 sons, a friend of one, and myself will be bobbing around on Lake Of The Wood on the Mn Canada border fishing for walleyes. Hope your spinners continue to turn. HH jim tn

I bend the barbs over on all my lures, especially the ones with treble hooks. I cant stand taking too much time and / or ripping up a fishes mouth...if I'm putting them back. Sometimes they shake out the lure, but I'd rather them do that than the hook doing damage.....have to play them a little different when not relying on the barbed hooks.

I was using 50 lb braid and actually was putting to much pressure on the fish. That is the reason for the fish getting off..... I was using a Shimano Antares 2019 7.3 ratio reel and a Kistler 2019 Zbone 7 ft mh rod. Spinnerbait was a war eagle...best I have found.
