Went on a road trip with a buddy over Memorial Day weekend. We didn't find much but I did score a bucket lister. Enjoy

Nice short, yet fairly complete, video of you scratching off the top of my bucket list. Any generic description of site? State and type of area would be nice.
Thanks for sharing!

Well I was told by the few people who know about this area that I would be hung if I told where it was LOL. But I can say that it is located at an old homestead site that saw activity from about 1854-1930. There is a fair amount of iron trash that includes farm tools, nails and flat tin. At some point the area was plowed as well because we have found stuff from the surface to 12 inches deep.

CONGRAT'S Andrew! That's my 'dream' coin to find! Even more-so than a Double Eagle. Yes...… these Type-1 U.S. 1-Dollar gold coins ID as 11/12 on EQX platform. Just below a Nickel. The Type-2 and Type-3's ID as '11'...… and sometimes bounce to '10'. Of all the gold coins produced..... the U.S. 1-Dollar gold coins were lost the most.

That was my dream coin as well because the $1 gold it is so small. Yes most lost and unfortunately hardest to find.

Great find. A bucket lister for all of us. Very nice. That steady VDI even after being dug is always a welcomed sign.
