OMG! I was impressed enough w the Trime, however that $1 gold is just over the top!!!
WTG, find of a lifetime!
I bet the Trime and $1 were newly minted, lost in 1853. Amazing you got that on video!

Always good to have a Goldie show up unexpectedly!

Remembering back to my half sovereign with the CTX3030...I was in an old wooded area that had been used as a dump by locals in recent times...signals everywhere and large foil all over...
So, when the signal was heard and the soil turned over and the glint of gold in the dark area in the trees was seen, initially a recent euro coin was the obvious candidate but soon as it lay in the palm of the hand no small euro coin weighed what that Goldie did! Great feeling.

S'funny too how the numbers change on the finds once out of the ground...

Thanks for all the comments guys. It was a fun hunt in an area that for the most part is real difficult hunting. I've come home empty handed many times.
