All from a couple of beach that I normally check out once a month, just happened both opened up and I was there. Most targets were shallow enough any water detector would have found them but now almost 4 weeks later..... Several feet of new sand has come into one of them, the better of the two. So that beach will get the two week recon watch until I figure out what happened. From checking the wind and tide history looks like N/NE winds did the place in...but closer attention will tell the story in time.



Some real heavy weights in the bunch..


I can't wait to see what the new Fisher "AQ" will do for my hunting...I need deep!

Thanks for sharing.I dont Hunt Jewelry but I'm Envious of your success!!That Pic sure makes the pulse race !!Gold can do that to a person.

Sort of at times wish I could hunt productive Beaches. I'm sure it can be addictive.Heck I know it could be!!!

Makes me want to go hit some watering holes around here after labor day weekend.!

Very happy for your success!!

Please share more if you get the chance to do a August total.

That's a WOW for sure. That is better then a gold ring a day if you even hunt every day. Simply amazing! Hope the one beach opens up again quickly for you. That is some nice old gold. HH jim tn

Impressive Joe......just impressive. Thats why the Xcal is the gauge for most salt water machines....... it just works and is simple to use. Now if gold keep creeping up....... so will the price tag on those ring buddy. Congrats Joe you put in your time ...... research, planning, and in sometimes harsh conditions. Anyone ever see a Pic of Joe in his winter get up suit lol? Best of luck for the rest of the year.

Wow!!

Tungsten and stainless are all I seem to find here on freshwater beaches. I've not found a single gold ring at the beach. Here lately I'd just settle for getting to go.

Many Thanks for the Kind words. I've been Very Blessed to find one or two spots a year that has given up several gold rings. I was wondering if it was going to happen this year...confused smiley

My favorite of the month was this little old 18k....Dated Oct 3rd, 1861



July I had 15 hunts, 13 were gold hunts, the last two were bleak. Not sure how the rest of the year will go but I'm still on the trail and smelling Gold!

Man that's a good one with the date..Imagine the war had already started .Maybe married while on leave or married before leaving for campaign? Does make the mind race with emotion's!

I got to say that Signet ring is just plain awesome!!

I have to commend you also on your photography, exceptionally clear and very artistic in the display!!Its really a fine art skill set you have..Professional photographers should take note.Or maybe you are one??

sweet finds! Good timing also with the gold price breaking out to 6 year highs! Hang on to that gold for a year or two , as gold appears to be headed to $3000 an ounce.
