Lol hey have you or any of your buddies tried the equinox in Alabama red dirt? I've been looking for a home in the Southside thought it would be in the Carolinas .. well we sold our home here in Ohio and bought a new build home in southern Alabama. We move in September. I'm curious as to how it does in bad dirt..

I have Red Clay soil the Nox handles it pretty good and gets good depth in multi frequency. Another machine that handles this red clay is the Deus ORX with a high frequency coil.

Why/how is it hotter than the last equinox you had? I was thinking most Equinox digital detectors are all about the same unlike the analog detectors with one detector could be much hotter than the other.
Please explain

I have one and it works quite well in NE AL red “devil dirt”. It’s not GPX deep, but does quite well in previously-hunted sites.
