My new hookah system

I will use this for shallow water hunting....I can dive in shallow water or just down fall down into the water and recover the target.I am going to use the Equinox like a dive machine in shallow water. Check the 1 min video out....dive machine

I can see the fun in this. But.....in 5’ of water with a straight shaft and scoop I can cover an awfully lot of water. Depending on the bottom you might find it difficult to recover deep targets....time vs pay off.

I had a couple encounters with Jetskis this summer. One guy though it was funny buzzing me. Just wish I had my Go Pro on..

There are bottles and dish on the bottom too...so I have that in mind....

Love the bottle..... and the axe isn't too shabby either!

That's awesome Reverend. That bottle and ax are gonna be great to add to your display. You're taking to water hunting like a duck takes to water. The only thing I miss is "go pro stop recording"

Ole' Cal doin' some divin'!

So..... what im looking at is a float raft (sold separate) you attach a scuba tank to and the long hookah hose w/regulator. less to mess with than the gas operated ones So you get ..... what about 1 hour of hunting per tank. Are you dive qualified? If not, how do you get your tanks filled? I believe it requires a C card down here. Did the hookah system come with that inflatable raft? Tank, hookah, raft, mask, and weight belt (suit if cold water)...... total cost? Im guessing ...... $600ish compared to $3000..... and $250 for a C card. Seems to be a very good idea for lakes or rivers if they can be hunted while you are attached.

It was a lot cheaper than a gas . Yes you have to be certified to get tanks filled . Hookah came with the raft . 600 vs 3000 no brainer to me.

I used a hookah years ago on the inland lakes, and found a lot of gold rings in 5-7 feet of water, just out of reach of the wading detectorists. Good luck!

This is not a knock on Ole' Cal, But don't you have to goe through some type of Physical to be certified as a diver? A buddy of mine had a heart attack and they would not certify him.

Harold you act like I am in bad health. I just road my bike 10 1/2 miles.in a hour which is not bad for a big dude... I gained a little weight this winter but I am down 20 pounds already in two weeks. Yes I am a bigger guy but I can jump on my bike and ride 20 miles if I so desire. Even being fat I bet I can out detect you...everybody can’t be a muscle man and own the two baddest detector s ever made like you Harold. ????Just keep watching the ole fat boys post wil be a rev war button there soon.

I once worked wit a guy that was way bigger than calabash. One day he surprised the whole crew by running faster than anyone (even some brothers) in a 50 yard dash. I've never seen anything like it. He should have been playing pro football.

If a person wants to know his condition check his blood pressure and sugar glucose.
That will tell the real story. If thats normal then you ahite.
Some can carry extra weight. I couldn't as both were high and I was Only 238 not bad.
I dropped 40 and now they are both in normal range. I almost had a srtoke so I am lucky. If I would have been one of them tuff guys who doesn't go to a doctor or the ER I would have. And I worked out 4 days a week and thought I was in good shape so a good physical is the only way to know for sure. Just sayin'.
