An update on the Simplex detectors
November 04, 2019 11:43PM
HaI have had a number of folks wondering about the status of the Simplex detectors, I sent a message to my distributor and this is their reply -
We are shipping preorders this week in the order in which they were received. Nokta makro did not supply enough to fulfill all dealer pre-orders. we are making sure that every dealer does receive supply from this first shipment in proportion to their preorders. we are expecting a second large shipment later in the month that we expect will cover all pre-order.

I thank all my customers for their patience & hope that this clears things up some. Thanks! Steve

Lol...It'll be in the mail soon.......thanks for the thoughts. I'll be in business if I get a walking boot, otherwise, I'll be doing some useless air testing while I heal smiling smiley

I'm hoping I get mine before there is to much snow. If not it's ok. I have a bucket of sand on my living room floor for testing lol.

I may have an extra regular or two. Still waiting on about 6-8 people to confirm wanting one or passing.

some of the guys said they had a lot of snow, said they would not see the ground for about 4 mos. I told them to sell and buy back in spring.

Don't make a whole lot of sense to me buying one now if you can't use it for several months with that time eating into the warranty.-----Save your money & let the "guinea pigs" work out the bugs on the thing--by Spring things (might) be ironed out (remember, it's a new release).

Solid logic!

Be interesting to see what a used one will bring? Might be some serious bargains out there...;

No they didn't send a Simplex.

I'm hoping to get on the field test list for their SMF though (Hello Dilek? thumbs down )

I have some great sites to test a SMF; alkali desert sites, a tough volcanic red clay dirt site, and local beaches with black sand, perfect to put it through its paces.

Outstanding! I've been routing for your SMF project since the beginning, I'd be thrilled to test the heck out of it to help contribute to getting the bugs worked out, and test all the features thumbs down
