I am the same as you Calabash. Always looking for that performance edge. That's what it's all about for me.

It's very competitive up here too.

Damn read the response I wrote gave my name etc. Sure as hell ain't no Kemper. I might have a temper though.
Those who don't have a place to swing a detector let me know and I'll make sure you get to swing all you want. I don't keep hardly anything I find including rings. I just love finding stuff. I guess some have big money sites meaning they convert their finds into cash. But I have a real job so don't need to worry about that. My thoughts are I'm just glad someone found it.
Now when it comes to deer hunting rights I don't share that...lol... I work to hard to let them get big

Your Blessed if you have a good job back there, one reason the family left Fayette County in 62' and moved east........... I guess If I still lived back there I would be hunting for relics and the rivers.

Never forget, squirrel tails on car antennas,............ many were the sign of a good hunter..

Yes,Good ole WV and squirrel tails on a car, truck antennas. I don't see the squirrels tails much, no one gets out to do anything anymore even deer hunting has went down hill. Yeah I drive my own truck and pull my own trailers pat can't complain but never home like I would like to be. But I carry my metal detector with me and find I don't even get a real chance to use it with these crazy hour of service rules.

In 60's/70's NH it was raccoon tails always. Sometimes fox if you could get one. Never squirrel.

Funny you should bring up that thought . . . . I was just thinking the same thing. Style is different though or maybe it's been too long since I've perused his posts. eye rolling smiley

Its been a month and I'm still waiting for an "Informative talk" from the original poster. For a guy that says he wants to help people with their detecting, I'm sadly disappointed. sad smiley

How much information can we expect from a person who's initial post is to attack everyone else?
