Chest mount Explorer ready to roll.

I finished up the mod today with the exception of a nice compact battery pack that should be here in a couple of days. Overall, I very pleased with the results, especially, not destroying a perfectly good Explorer I'll test it out as soon as my ankle heals in a few weeks. The S-rods make a world of difference, it's a real joy swinging the coils with this type of set-up. Once again, thanks IDX Monster for the idea.

will be interesting to see the Explorer function in the field.

Looks great! Combined w/the Pro Coil I bet the old dog will be hard to leave at home. I always wanted to get one for my Exp 2's, ran one for a bit and while I loved my SEFs, that coil shocked me how much it helped ergonomically.

You did a great job on the old Explorer II, At one time it was my goto for the dry and wetsand, and still one of the best I believe.
