Detector of Choice

I am planning a trip to Europe to go detecting. For those in the US who have gone to Europe, what machine works best for you or did you wish you had another machine. All suggestions would be appreciated.

Check out Rogers Relics, most of those guys are in the UK and their really cool and helpful. Most of them are running GOLDMAXX Pro or the DEUS.

Europe is a big place. That's like asking what detector works best in the US.

Any weight restrictions? Are you looking to BUY a machine to take or are you taking one you’ve already got, and what would those choices be if so? I don’t have experience in the UK , just nosy.

If you have permissions on suitable ground - almost anything will do.

VDI readout are pretty much useless, since even iron artifacts are interesting - Viking sword anybody?

The Deus is a local favorite and any higher frequency machine such as an F19/G2 or a T2 would be fine.

Most use Deus and Nox, but there are also a lot of Deeptech users.
The higher frequencies are used for the smaller en thinner silver coins.

I have a Dues, F75 and G2.
Just wasn't sure what would be the best choice. I'm looking for coins in England and WW2 artifacts in Germany/Belgium. Of course all with permission.

My preferred weapons of choice that i mainly shoot from the hip as i live in the UK are the Deus for trashy sites and also the Nox for pasture and deep work and of course land with high mineral content.But surprisingly enough the detector that has found me both the most gold and also our hammered silver coins has been my original green T2.

FBS has no bother finding full hammered coins sitting face up at depth, as long as there's not too much iron.
