His daughter just posted that he had passed away on Facebook. Please send out prayers to his family.

I am really sorry to hear this...Jimmy Galante and I were just talking about Dan 2 days ago. I know he was having some health issues the last few years. Sad news indeed.

He always claimed to have a technique for raising the odds in finding gold rings w the old Tesoros, I still have it if anyone wants to try it.

Thanks for letting us know Morgan, sad news indeed. Dan was a great guy, never met him but have dealt with his a number of times over the years and talked with him on the phone from time to time. RIP Dan, thoughts and prayers to his family and friends.

Sad news no doubt.
Dan's last activity here was only a few days shy of a full year.
He'll be missed.
