I don't think I could spend money on a Quest product, knowing they stole and pirated their software from First Texas, then "settled out of court" and did a slight name change.

The competition most likely be for the European market where Quest is very popular.
So the Simplex is being hot rod'd with updates to surpass it in order to capture its market.

Garrett better keep up with the Apex or it may fade out.

Don't know where the Vanquish sits now.

Detector wars heating up? Superior performing detectors at entry level pricing?
Appears detectorists will be reaping the benefits.

I will enjoy the Simplex.

DeepTech Vista X with 3 search coils.
Works for me

I know how much you like the "Quest" ghound but I won't be holding my breadth...I refused to 'contract' Field Test that brand for the Chinese maker a few years ago. (didn't he end up in a law suit?)

They did have a good pin pointer though, based on the "White's Bullseye" build..."Woodsman or Frontierman", named something like that...no longer available I suppose?

Not myself Des, i never owned one. Certainly their past escapades have followed them like a bad smell.
