Price on a Tarsacci and who owns one?

Who offers the best price on a Tarsacci ? Who sells them? Thanks

That depends on where you live remember there's tax if you live in the same state.

Nasa-Tom (Florida), Trans bay detectors(California) there are a couple more but don't know what state.

I think most people get them from Nasa Tom.

There are only four distributions including myself.
The price of the TARSACCI is the same no matter what dealer you go too.

Wonder how the Tarsacci would do up against my Equinox 800 in my mild Indiana dirt? I do have areas I hunt that have lots of iron nails and other piece of rusty old iron. Just trying to see what those who have used the Tarsacci think when it comes to weather the Tarsacci would be a benefit to me vs my Equinox. Thanks

I do not own, nor have I used a Tarsacci, but from what I've read by those who have used both a Equinox and the Tarsacci, the EQ performs as well or better in mild soil. Tarsacci is the winner in high mineral and salt water.

I've owned both detectors and have tested them head to head in my test garden. The Equinox gets slightly more depth than the Trasacci in my mild dirt. The extra features of the Equinox give it further advantage.

Tarsacci wins by a good margin in salt and high mineralization.

There has been discussion of a larger coil as well. I wasnt impressed with the Nox 15" for depth. So ..... on a beach if this larger coil can give us more depth its a big winner.

Florida buyers add sales tax.

Shipping now days is getting to be a big deal. Like most states if you live in the state that you order stuff from you pay sales tax.

Shipping is ridiculous nowadays. I hate to do the "remember whens" but it wasn't that long ago I could ship a HEAVY detector with insurance for under $20 from USPS. A couple weeks ago I shipped a light weight detector in a smaller box and it was nearly $50 through USPS.

There is a "key" word that is absolutely critical at the Post Office: "PARCEL" !!!!

If you never mention the word "parcel" ….. the Post Office is prohibited from telling you "parcel"...…. and you would never find out about this option. If you do not know this option exists...… you will 'attempt' to mail 'First Class'...….. whereby..... the Post Office will THEN tell you that they can NOT ship a box 'First Class'. This forces you to use 'Priority Mail'.

I just mailed a full CZ-3D for $16.85..... in its original box...… using: PARCEL!!!

Once again...…………….. YOU can use the word: "parcel".,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,., but the Post Office is prohibited from offering this word: "parcel".

When I shipped my Tarsacci through the post office, I just handed them the box and the guy said that will be $15.40. The price sounded reasonable to me.

The CZ3D I shipped was USPS Priority with $400 insurance. It was in a smaller than factory sized box. I broke everything down and put it in there. Nearly $50 to go from TN to IL.

No Bob.....your missing the point. Remember you made light of the fact that Daniel paid so much for shipping his CZ, and you paid so little? And why is that??? Because you did NOT ship that TARSACCI INSURED. If you HAD insured it for the $1200.00 you were selling it for, you would have been charged at least $20 extra. However, you decided to “roll the dice”, good luck w that!

Tom implied that he got some sort of a special deal for saying the word "parcel". I guess my question is, what would he have paid had he not mentioned "parcel" and was his package insured?
