Spotted this online.
Quote,

I had only a few short weeks before the Vanquish had to be shelved and even less on my second attempt at the simplex, we know that the new quest range could drop at any time with C-Scopes Evo and the new apex from Garrett, has entered into stage tease.
But sneaking out from under the covid quietness is the Gauss MD detector, Most of us will be familiar with Mars Md, this yr they hit a decade of innovation at the business end of most of the well known brands on the market whilst producing pin pointers and aftermarket stems along side some great coils.
So it’s only ever been a matter of time before the engineers built a brain to power their own product and it goes by the name, Gauss Md.
A switchable 18 to 48khz detector with the choice of there already established range of coils.
They will be shipped out of spin a disc, the UK distributor for Mars and I'll try give you more details as they come.

• Dual-frequency operating at 16 and 48 kHz. (No need to change coils).
• MDLink receiver for use with supplied headphones.
• Fast charging. (Magnetic)
• 24hr run time on a single charge. (some boast)
• Telescopic two-part stem with a carbon fibre lower.
• Dust Proof/Splash Proof IP64.
• Weight: Gauss MD/ Goliath coil =1444 grams.
Gauss MD/Tiger coil =1338 grams.
Gauss MD/Sniper coil =1160 grams.
• Price: £400 - £500 range
• 2-year warranty.

true, been floating around for a little while, but they don't have it to point where a operating manual exists for it.

Nice detector. It's not waterproof.

One frequency at a time or simultaneous? My guess is one at a time because the coil comment.

It sounds like it is simultaneous or single frequency which would be nice.

A very nice selection of coils too.

There's a few vids on it, mineral brick test etc
It looks well built and has a detachable head unit.

Coil aside, it looks a lot like an Equinox. If it's SMFit could be interesting.

It does look a lot like an Equinox.----Looks like another front heavy one to!

Except you have a compete selection of coils and the bigger Tiger and Discovery coils are light.

Sounds like a switchable single frequency to me.

Dual-frequency operating at 16 and 48 kHz. Switchable without the need to change coils.

War happening in whole market.
Don’t forget about supposed new c scope Evo 6000 coming out.

Person could go broke buying all models.

White’s screws up.
Should have put MXT in Deus or EQX looking thingy.
Got rid of the tin can look.
Mx Sport way too heavy for loads to like.

White’s and First Texas behind, presuming this new Garrett Apex has sleeker design.

MD make terrific telescopic shafts, use one on my backup Deus, really quality piece of kit, also plan on using my TDI Pro coil on the same shaft with the control box chest mounted.

Mars Tiger coil looked great in the promotional video being driven over and bounced off trees etc,but its how a coil performs on a detector rather than being smashed to pieces.Alas only used the Tiger coil on my T2 few times and its sat in my cupboard gather dust for the last couple of years, possibly the worst performing coil that i own.

The MD detector sound good on paper spec wise and may perform very good, but must admit have never seen anyone using one here in the UK and this tells me alot.I for one wont ever buy one,the folks who have bought them and that is few and far between sell them on after a shot time duration and because no one want to buy them they take a massive hit when it come to sell them.

Apart from the telescopic shaft which i do really like, not overly keen on the brand.
