Does the MDT 8000 have AKA DNA?

I believe it does just by watching Video's. Has anyone used both who could answer my question? I have three different AKA detectors.Thanks

George. No. The AKA is VLF.

Tex,
Only think Aka and Tarsacci have in common really (I had both), is disc tone provided using Tarsacci sounds like tone aka units can provide.

Tones of Aka units should be industry standard imo, Best sound bar none.
And silly as this may sound, Aka units sound like a real clear sounding pinball machine. (Having to go back some years to remember).

Audio Tarsacii is very similar to the sound scheme of AKA .. RT-ST audio ..
  One of the very good sound transmissions of the detection signal ... between the detectors ..
