I have not been able to get TNet to come up since yesterday afternoon?!?

Is it just me??!?

It's working okay for me, but I'm not a member.

I haven't been to the Treasurenet site in 15 or more years. Looks like it's still active. I see posts from today.

I was just now able to get on, but running really slow. Created a new post and won't upload.

Everything else working fine on my end of the internet. Other forums and site open w/o any issues.

Seems to be working fine now. No noted problems loading.

You aren't missing much. That place is dying a slow death.

never seen a forum last this long when mod's personal biases decide what gets deleted and who gets the ban/timeout.

I haven't had any trouble since one guy hasn't been posting, but before that it was a constant "in your face" and I complained they banned me. They give sanctuary to some people that don't deserve to be there.

I was banned for something. It was so long ago, I can't remember the reason.

My Treasure Spot is ending at the end of May, I'll miss that place, been going there for over 20 years, anybody in here remember the PIT

Not "dying a slow death" Unless you're a proponent/advocate/believer of ghost-story legends and magic wands. Then it's home central for you. But heaven-help you if you give opposing views to these things.

And it's a crying shame. Because admittedly they have a good layout there, a cool prestigious "banner" system, and lots of traffic.

Welcome to the club. I can admit that I was ... uh ... "relentless" , sure. But at the end of the day, it's not a question of who is outspoken or passionate with their particular "bee in the bonnet". Instead, at T'net, it's about WHAT views you hold. Not how you hold them. Because if you look back at some of the silly-ness that "can't be questioned" (for fear of getting banned), it starts to become quite obvious.

Tom_in-CA I was not referring to you. I know you hit pretty hard with legitimate questions against some "protected" people, one of whom harrassed me. I complained and the moderators didn't like that and I've been banned several times. I pretty much figured out if you have enough followers you get protection because they want the traffic. Gets me steamed just thinking about it.

I hear you contraption. A crying shame, since they admittedly have high traffic #'s and a good layout.

I think they are dying out. Nothing there to read. A few insignificant finds and not much else. I have noticed every so ofter I get several "likes" from out of nowhere. I think they have a crew that goes around and gives away likes.
